This air quality table compares the major types of plastic used in 3D for the amount of formaldehyde, TVOC’s (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) as well as particulates (10 μm in size or greater) and PM2.5 (2.5 μm in size or smaller).  The measurements were made with standard air quality meter (see here: https://amzn.to/2JQW28h) under controlled and reaped conditions.  The reference (i.e. Ref) range are the thresholds which are generally considered to be of “risk” to health.

3d print air quality is it bad for me is there a cancer risk  This graph compares the particle release sizes of PM10 (10 μm in size or greater) and PM2.5 (2.5 μm in size or smaller) for each common plastic used in 3d printing.  The premises being the higher the “outgassing“, the high the risk of the plastic to ones over heath.  It is also important to understand the risk of the PM2.5 particles as it is considered possible for these nano-particle to penetrate the blood brain barrier as well as bypass many biological and mechanical filtration systems also.
